Sarkis Clinical Trials Internship & Volunteer Opportunities

Job Description: Sarkis Clinical Trials Internship

The Sarkis Clinical Trials Internship is a part time, volunteer position working closely with research professionals in the Psychiatric, CNS, COVID-19 and Substance Use space. The position provides support for ongoing research programs while completing training modules aimed at increasing understanding of clinical trials and developing skills to succeed in the health care field. The internship can be tailored to fit the interests and skills of the intern.

Sarkis Clinical Trials is connected to Sarkis Family Psychiatry and has been serving the Gainesville community for 30 years. The Clinical Trials office has been running since 1996 and in this time has participated in hundreds of trials. In addition to our research operation, Sarkis Clinical Trials became one of the leading COVID-19 testing sites in Alachua County. In our full operation we were running 20% of the tests in the county. Our small operation was able to pull of this tremendous feat by leveraging our experience in community public health.
