Last Chance Before MCAT Prices Increase

Balance 180 Summer Camp Hands-On Volunteer Experience!!

Are you interested in working with children and have a fun summer camp experience? Balance 180 Gymnastics & Sports Academy, a local non-profit organization committed to integrating children with disabilities, is looking for college-aged volunteers to join our summer camp. This summer we are running our fifth integrated summer camp and are looking for volunteers that are excited to work with children with special needs!

Summer camp 2018 will run from July 16th- August 3rd and promises to be a blast! Volunteers can join in the morning from 8:00am-12:30pm or in the afternoon from 12:30pm-5:30pmhowever, the times can be adjusted to the volunteer's schedule! No gymnastics experience is required to volunteer! Volunteers can sign up for any week or specific days: whatever works for their schedule! Most help is needed in the mornings :)

Our inclusive summer camp provides a great hands-on learning experience for student volunteers. Volunteers work 1-1 or 2-1 with participating campers (ages 3-15 years) in a wide range of activities, such as gymnastics, crafts, and games! Volunteers help athletes make new friends, learn new motor skills, and encourage the athletes to try new activities! Our athletes have a range of disabilities including autism, Down syndrome, ADD/ADHD, and cerebral palsy, among others.

We are so excited to be offering our summer camp again and hope you will be able to join us and benefit from this learning experience! Attached is a flyer with additional details! Students who are interested can email Ashley Tringas at balance180summercamp@gmail.com.

Thank you for your help and support of our mission!

Sincerely,

Ashley for the Balance 180 Team
