Health Advocacy Internship at Military Veterans of America

Hello UF Pre-Health Community,

We are excited to announce an invaluable opportunity for Junior and Senior Pre-Health students interested in nonprofit work and medical health advocacy initiatives. Our Health Advocacy Internship at Military Veterans of America, a reputable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our military Veterans, offers a dynamic platform for students to engage in meaningful work, including:

• Reviewing Veteran health cases
  
• Contributing to homelessness initiatives
  
• Participating in political advocacy through writing petitions and memos to Congress
  
• Aiding in drafting potential laws for members of Congress
  

This internship also provides a unique chance to participate in research and secure letters of recommendation for medical and graduate school applications.
