Gainesville UNA Youth Council | Prehealth Students

Are you interested in working alongside the United Nations to initiate global impact?

Gainesville’s United Nations Association (UNA) is recruiting passionate students and professionals interested in learning more about how they can harness their unique talents to make a difference on an international level. No matter your major, we are confident your skills will be a valuable addition to our team.
Membership Opportunities:
  • Our organization is closely linked to the United Nations. Once you become a member, you can network with UN staff, attend UN events, advocate for grassroots organizations, join UNA affinity groups, and more.
  • UNA Youth Council members will have access to our exclusive Slack channel with daily updates on all things from motivational TedTalks to relevant research publications to professional development opportunities.
  • At the beginning of each month, our executive board will publish a newsletter with topics including foreign affairs, the SDG of the month, upcoming multicultural events, and more.
  • At the end of each month, the UNA Youth Council will host either an in-person volunteer event or a virtual advocacy opportunity.
  • Finally, we will hold triannual board meetings where members will have a chance to learn from keynote speakers, discuss their opinions regarding global affairs, and team up to work on projects that will address one or more of the SDGs.
If you are interested in becoming a member of Gainesville’s UNA Youth Council, please fill out the following interest form.
If you are interested in joining as an Executive Board Member, please fill out this second interest form.
