Dream Team is a student-run nonprofit organization dedicated to brightening the lives of pediatric patients in UF Health Shands Pediatric and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Units. Our members volunteer by dedicating time in and out of the hospital to these children and their families. Members are dedicated, creative, and passionate, and we truly care about the patients we serve.
Additionally, this semester new members will have the opportunity to first serve at the Ronald McDonald House as volunteers before transitioning to be in-hospital volunteers.
Dream Team is not exclusive to any specific major or track, and we welcome students of all backgrounds! Dream Team is a great way to give back to the community and serve in a hospital environment. Additionally, Dream Team hosts special events, fundraisers, a mentor-mentee program, and more, fostering a community of students who truly care about the work they do.
Our fall application cycle opens today, July 17th, at 6:30pm after our Zoom information session and closes on July 30th. We are so excited to get to know applicants and welcome a new cohort! More information can be found on our website and Instagram, @ufdreamteam.
