Students Taking Action Against Racism

 

My name is Andrew Morales, and I am one of the members of the Student Government agency Students Taking Action Against Racism (STAAR). It is our mission at STAAR to promote the improvement of race relations on campus, and we would greatly appreciate your support. For Anti-Racism Week, we would like to invite all members of the Pre-Health community at the University of Florida, to attend and be a part of the discussion on navigating race in academia, as well as to support efforts to combat racism on campus. Among other events, we will be hosting two panels highlighting anti-racism in academia:

·       Navigating Race in STEM Professions: Thursday, Nov. 19 @ 5:30 - 6:45PM

·       Navigating Race in Humanities Professions: Friday, Nov. 20 @ 5:30 - 6:45PM
