APSA Applicant Series - Finding a Research Mentor and Developing Research Skills November 30, 7pm EST Are you interested in research? Wanting to find a mentor? Wondering how to find a great mentor? The American Physician Scientist Association (APSA) and the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) have partnered to host an engaging virtual panel of MD-PhDs - from students to faculty - to offer their perspectives on fulfilling the physician-scientist training pathway. Have you ever wondered what a physician scientist does? Interested in applying? This program provides an intensive, two-year mentored laboratory research experience for UiMS students (i.e., those identifying as being from populations underrepresented in medicine and science) that will expose them to the physician-scientist career path, strengthen their applications to MD or MD-PhD programs, and enhance their career development. Email staff@the-asci.org to request that an application be set up.
