The 2023 Yale Summer Enrichment Medical Academy (YSEMA) application is now open!
YSEMA is a free, residential summer academy for undergraduate students (current freshmen or sophomores) that are interested in pursuing medical school. Qualified applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and attend a Historically Black College and University (HBCU), Hispanic- Serving Institution (HSI) or Connecticut Community College.
The final YSEMA 2023 information session will be held via Zoom prior to the application closing on Sunday, February 12, 2023. The goal of this session is to provide prospective students with pertinent YSEMA information like program eligibility criteria, curriculum, benefits, application requirements, etc. Prospective students will also have the opportunity to meet the YSEMA program coordinators and ask questions.
