Chemistry Club Outreach Opportunity

Looking for ways to get involved? Interested in volunteering in local elementary schools? The UF Chemistry Club’s Science Outreach program is looking for student volunteers for the spring semester. The program pairs UF students with local elementary and middle school classrooms where volunteers perform science demonstrations and experiments. Volunteers do not have to be science majors. All materials are provided by the program and transportation costs are reimbursed. You can also choose to be in a group with your friends!

There will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, February 7th, at 6:30 pm in NPB 1001 (room subject to change). There will also be an online make-up option if you cannot join us in person. You must attend one of these meetings in order to participate in the program. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Outreach Team (Lauren Andrews, Anton Roche, or Leah Kessler) through ufchemoutreach@gmail.com or #outreach on discord.

Stay up to date with future outreach events by joining the Chemistry Club Discord Server!
