The
Society for Viral Studies is hosting a COVID-19 Vaccine Informational and
Discussion on March 11th at 7:30 pm! Our featured speaker is Manuel Gordillo,
MD. Dr. Gordillo is the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control at
Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gordillo led a clinical trial focused on
treatment and immunity from a synthetic antibody cocktail to help people who
have COVID-19. He will give a presentation about the COVID-19 vaccines
currently available, the science behind their development, how they work, and
more! There will also be a Q&A Session following the presentation.
