Applications Open: Community Health-Oriented Mentorship Program (CHOMP)

Hello,

We are excited to announce the release of mentee and mentor applications for the Community Health-Oriented Mentorship Program (CHOMP)! Now more than ever, Public Health is an extremely relevant and important field for anyone looking to make a larger impact with healthcare, policy, business, and more. For students pursuing Public Health in any aspect, CHOMP seeks to provide mentorship, career planning workshops, panel discussions with Public Health professionals, and a lasting community of like-minded individuals.

CHOMP events will be open to everyone, but for those seeking graduate student mentorship, please apply here: bit.ly/chompmentee. Please note our specialized focus on those interested in receiving mentorship within the Public Health field and carefully read the eligibility guidelines in the application before you apply. We are more than happy to help you find another mentorship program (e.g. for those interested in MD/DO only, MD-PhD, etc.) if CHOMP is not the best fit for you and your interests. If you are a graduate student, attending graduate school, or working in Public Health or a related field and are interested in serving as a mentor, please apply here: bit.ly/chompmentor.

Mentee and mentor applications will close on Tuesday, September 22nd at 11:59pm EST and notifications will be sent out later that week. Please email shruti.kolli@ufl.edu and erin.kim@ufl.edu with any questions. We look forward to reading your responses!

Warm regards,
