UF Chemistry Club Science Outreach

Hello Outreachers, we hope you haven't forgotten about us! We are pleased to share that Outreach is looking for volunteers for the fall semester to help us bring hands-on science to local schools...from a distance!

The UF Chemistry Outreach Program is a community service opportunity that allows volunteers to make weekly, biweekly, or monthly visits to Alachua County classrooms to perform science experiments with K-8 students. This semester, all outreach will be conducted via video calls. We're counting on you to help us continue to serve our local schools when they need fun and engaging science the most!

Orientation will be open for completion from August 31st to September 7th. Orientation consists of presentation slides, knowledge checks, and a variety of resources to make sure you’re comfortable and prepared to volunteer. This training is required for both new and returning volunteers.

The Google Classroom link will be posted early next week, so keep an eye out on our social media!
