Kaplan Test Prep

I have some exciting events that I think Pre-Health students could really benefit from in two ways. If you think this would be a good opportunity, it would be great if you could share this with the Pre-Health listserv:

 

Kaplan Test Prep is offering free event sign-ups for students. There are two amazing opportunities here!

 

1.    Kaplan is offering free study guides and free test-specific events for those taking the MCAT. They range from content specific events to general events! Some of the events include:

a.      Free MCAT Workshop

b.      Free MCAT Science Lesson: Enzyme Inhibition

c.       Free MCAT Strategy Session: CARS

For every MCAT event attendee, Kaplan will also donate $10 to the Med Supply Drive! 

For students taking the DAT, GRE, OAT, and PCAT, Kaplan is offering free study guides for these exams as well. 

 

2.      Kaplan is also offering free events discussing some of the issues that are surrounding our society currently. Some of the events include: 

a.      Black Pain Matters: How Historical Medical Assumptions about Black Pain Thresholds Impact Care

b.      Acknowledging Racial Inequality in Medical Education

c.       Bodies for Science: History of Experimentation on People of Color

d.      Leveraging a Growth Mindset as a College Student in the COVID era

And many more! All of these events can be found under the MCAT tab. Events are being added every week, and I think Pre-Health students could undoubtedly benefit from attending many of these! :)
