2017 University
Women’s Club Undergraduate Scholarships
Each year the
University Women’s Club awards up to 17 scholarships in the
amount of
$1,000 to junior or senior undergraduate men and women.
Applicants must
have a minimum GPA of 3.6 and have demonstrated
service to the
university and/or community. These awards are given in
honor of Former
First Ladies of UF.
There are some
designated areas of interest for a few of the first ladies
such as Art/
Art History, Elementary/Early Childhood Education, Music,
Science and
Theatre and Dance. The general application form and

The application
DEADLINE is February 27, 2017.
The Rita
O’Connell Scholarship is also selected by the UWC. These awards
($1,000) are
given to students who have achieved success as students
while
persevering through physical or cognitive disabilities. There aren’t
specific GPA
requirements, but the application process must be followed.
