Dr. Raja Narayan is a surgical fellow in complex general surgical oncology at Harvard Medical School. He attended Berkeley for his BS in Chemical Biology, Yale for his MPH in Biostatistics, and the University of California Irvine for his MD. He has an interest in medical education – as a medical student, he developed a library of physiology and clinical videos for the online learning platform, Khan Academy, where his videos have been viewed over 20 million times. His research focus is in identifying markers of cancer biology using novel AI-based platforms and genomic assays.
Jacquetta Melvin has over 13 years of experience providing obstetrical and gynecological care. She completed her PA education at Howard University in 2008, and then completed her MPH at UNC Chapel Hill in 2011. She is currently a faculty member at the Duke PA Program. Prior to joining the faculty at Duke, she served as faculty at UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine where she served as a clinical preceptor for UNC physician assistant and medical students. Jacquetta is the immediate past president of the Association of PA’s in OB/GYN. Her special interests include preventative gynecological care, contraception, and health policy advocacy for marginalized populations.
