The University of South Carolina Office of
Pre-Professional Advising is hosting a Virtual Pre-Medical Conference:
“Students Today, Doctors Tomorrow." This conference allows students
attending colleges in the southeast region to participate in a full day of
interactive learning. The conference will include information about the
application process to med school, keynote speakers, physicians, medical
students, presentations from admissions committee members, financing a medical
school education, and more.
Our intention is to educate students about the process of
applying to medical school, to assist in career development, and impart an
understanding of the realities of medical school and the medical profession.
Faculty, staff, and current medical students from UofSC and USC-SOM will be
present to answer questions.
Join us virtually on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9am -
3:30pm. The cost to attend the conference is $50. The deadline to register is
Saturday, February 13, 2021. No refunds will be issued after January 30, 2021.
All registered participants will receive, in early February, an
information packet via email and the link to attend the conference.
We welcome
students attending colleges in the southeast region to participate in this full
day of interactive learning.
