BU's Oral Health Sciences Master's Program

It gives me great pleasure to share that the
M.S. in Oral Health Sciences program at Boston University has accepted another talented class of students interested in improving their academic credentials for dental school even with the challenges we all face due to COVID-19.  Additionally, the 2020 matriculating class is quite diverse group with students historically underrepresented in dentistry and those from disadvantaged backgrounds representing close to 35% of our incoming class. I appreciate the role you have played in this achievement. BU is committed to providing a ‘second chance’ program for all students pursuing a career in dentistry. In keeping with this mission, we provide all students with individualized academic advising and support throughout the program.

As you advise students seeking to improve their credentials for dental school admission, please share the
brochure  as well as invite them to attend one of our upcoming informational webinars.  BU OHS Program Webinars are held monthly with one this Friday (12/4) at noon.  Please visit our website to register and learn more about the OHS program.

More than 90% of our program graduates who apply to dental schools are accepted and we are committed to providing a high level of support as they navigate the AADSAS process.

I welcome you, and any of the students you work with, to contact me if you have any questions. I am also open to holding a closed webinar with your students if they are interested.

Best Wishes,

Theresa
