The American Society
for Microbiology UF Chapter would like to invite you to our first spring
general body meeting on this Thursday,
January 18th at 6:30pm in the Microbiology and Cell Science building's Seminar
Room!
The meeting will consist of a quick introduction,
an overview of our plans for the semester, and a guest speaker! Our guest
speaker will be Dr. John Lednicky of the UF Department of Environmental and
Global Health. He will be sharing his work on arboviruses (viruses transmitted
by arthropod vectors) and career options in virology. For more information on
