Calling all pre-meds and individuals whose voice want to be
heard! Join Second Chance Gators, a new organization at UF.
We dedicate our time to educating others about individuals with
disabilities, acting as mentors for UF students and students across the
Gainesville community with disabilities while promoting an inclusive
environment, and uniting the community through disability awareness
events. Presentations about disabilities and the challenges they present
to individuals will be made, volunteer opportunities will be offered, and there
will be plenty of opportunities for members to make essential
connections with esteemed faculty! Also, we are looking for
individuals who are capable of playing instruments, as we wish to perform music
throughout campus and the Gainesville community as a means of expressing
creativity to raise awareness for individuals with disabilities. If
you can play an instrument this is a chance for you to showcase your talent!
Our first general body meeting for the semester will be held on September
15th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Heavener Hall Room 150. JOIN
SECOND CHANCE GATORS THIS FALL!
