Let’s Get Phys(iolog)ical!
On March 18th AFPS and BMES are holding an amazing event – the
first Annual Physiology Phestival (aka PhP). What’s in it for you? Other than
the free food? Well, a lot – Your team can win $100 dollars in the Students vs.
Faculty trivia! And you get to see faculty face-off versus students, which is a
pretty rare opportunity.
Next, we have an amazing guest speaker, Dr. Timothy Osborne from
the Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute! If you are interested
in physiology-related research, then this would be a great learning opportunity
for you.
Finally, we have a unique, one-of-a-kind event – our “Anything
But Powerpoint” competition. Open to undergrads, postbacs, grads, etc., it is a
way to communicate your research in a creative manner ala “Dance your PhD”
style. Get creative!
