Global Surgery Student Alliance (GSSA) is a national student-run global surgery working group for the U.S. - we believe that students are willing and able to make significant contributions to global surgery and we hope to be a resource that facilitates those efforts. GSSA chapters are teaming up to host the 4th Annual Undergraduate Global Surgery Hackathon on February 10th and 11th, 2024.
During this two-day virtual event, students from across the country will join one another to tackle a real-world global surgery problem. They will have the opportunity to be mentored by and present their solution to field experts. This event is a great opportunity for undergraduate students to network and work with both students and professionals who are passionate about global surgery. No experience or prior knowledge is needed for the event and winners will receive a cash prize!
