The Natural Resources Diversity Initiative will be hosting asynchronous elections from April 19th-20th. We have openings for President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Social Media Coordinator, and Undergraduate Outreach Coordinator. Officers will help plan meetings in the fall and/or assist our graduate students in outreach endeavors in the community - responsibilities for each position can be found here. No experience needed- just a passion for what we do (see flyer for more info)! It is a great networking opportunity as we bring in many professionals from the natural sciences, environmental education, and DEI realm. Many NRDI officers have moved directly into jobs or graduate school due in part to the experiences they gained during their time in the club. I will also be available in the fall to help guide new officers - so don't be afraid to run for a position, I'll be there for additional support!
If you'd like to nominate yourself, simply submit this google form, and then upload a video with a short speech about why you want this role to our Google Folder for elections before April 19th. We will open a Google Form for voting on April 19th, which will close at 11:59:59 on April 20th. New officers will be announced on April 21st.
