College Prep Mentoring Program

The College Prep Mentoring Program (sponsored by Children Beyond Our Borders, Inc. and Alachua County Public Schools) is looking for dedicated individuals to serve as college prep mentors to low-income high school students in Gainesville!

As a mentor, you will help with all aspects of college prep: understanding and planning for standardized tests, creating resumes, filling out college applications, editing essays, applying for scholarships and financial aid, and more! You may also serve as an outlet for stress and provide support and friendship for your mentee.

The ultimate goal of the program is to bridge the educational achievement gap between students of varying socioeconomic backgrounds by providing low-income and otherwise disadvantaged students with resources they might not otherwise have access to.

Priority Applications are due April 28th at 11:59 pm.
