The Center for Undergraduate Research Board of Students
(CURBS) is hosting the following workshop next week, open to all students at
UF:
“How to Give an Effective Oral Research Presentation”
Wednesday, February 15, 5:30 – 6:30 PM
Fine Arts Building B, Room 0105
Are you presenting research at an upcoming symposium,
conference, or even just for class? Then this workshop has you covered! Learn
how to give an effective oral research presentation from guest speakers
Christopher Brewer and Rachel Lo! Chris and Rachel are both graduate students
at UF, and run the monthly Undergraduate Research Seminar series, in which
students have the opportunity to practice their research presentations skills
to peers and faculty. The ability to give an effective presentation is a great
skill for anyone to have, and even if you do not have an upcoming presentation,
this workshop can help you prepare for future endeavors. All students are
welcome, and pizza will be provided!
