An AAMC Summer Intern Perspective: Symone Jordan
|
Every summer, the AAMC invites undergraduate and graduate
students to apply to our internship program and learn what we do all day.
It's also not surprising that many interns are also interested in a
career in medicine! We asked Symone Jordan to tell us what motivates her

Violence against one of our children is violence against
all of our children. We must take a stand together. We are not democrats,
republicans, white or black. We are Americans and we are human beings.
|
In the wake of the most recent tragedies that have
affected our nation, Dr. Sarah Bernstein, a pediatrics resident at the

AAMC Spotlight: Malika Fair, MD, MPH
|
Growing up, Dr. Fair witnessed her community plagued with
various illnesses that she understood to be a part of getting older. It
wasn't until she got to high school that she realized these illnesses
were not prevalent in every community in the U.S., in fact, they were
preventable. This realization ultimately led her to pursue a career in
medicine and public health.
|
Dr. Fair serves as the AAMC's Senior Director for Health
Equity Partnerships and Programs.
