APEX Summer Program

APEX is an intense application preparation program for med school applicants. It is also an opportunity for a trip to the gross anatomy lab at the USC School of Medicine, shadowing in the hospitals, and lots of tips about how to make your application accentuate your experiences putting you in your best light. The application prep portion includes a comprehensive AMCAS overview, personal statement workshops, interview skills workshops, two simulated, true to life med school interviews for each participant, and discussions about current health care issues and the Affordable Care Act. This opportunity will help highly-motivated students learn how to showcase their abilities, skills, and motivation throughout the application process to med school. Must have 60 hours of earned college credit to attend.
