Looking for Medical internships? As an intern with VAW Global Health Alliances, you'll support a team to work closely with local health workers and partners to implement primary health clinics (or any other type) across LMIC.

 

Join VAW Global Health Alliances at the University of Florida! This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside physicians to provide basic medical care to communities abroad. Interns will take vitals, shadow doctors, distribute medications, learn about basic pharmacology, and prepare a public health lesson to teach to children. You will also have opportunities during free days to explore Guatemala and fully immerse yourself in the culture. This is a 1-week intensive trip valuable to those who want to gain experience and collaborate in sustainable projects with partner communities while also having fun exploring a new country.

 

We are currently accepting applicants of all majors for our spring 2023 trip to Guatemala and we also have leadership positions available!
