MCAT Scholarship Apps Due October 9

Test preparation programs can cost thousands of dollars and provide a decided advantage to those who can afford them. Last cycle we offered 310 full scholarships for MCAT prep programs (here is a list of last year’s winners who gave us permission to share their names).

This fall we will offer at least 100 additional full scholarships. We are especially trying to get scholarships to students from groups underrepresented in health professions and to first-generation college students . All students with financial need are encouraged to apply.

We have greatly expanded program offerings this year. Scholarships are available for two types of MCAT prep:

On-demand program (start any time)

  • four custom full-length exams
  • instructor-monitored discussion boards
  • comprehensive subject review
  • >2000 practice questions with explanations
  • customizable study plans

Instructor-guided programs (about ten dates available)

  • Year access to On-Demand course assets above, plus ...
  • 4-, 8- and 14-week intensive programs with day-by-day assignments from faculty
  • Year access to the four AAMC full-length exams and the AAMC CARS diagnostic course
  • 50+ hours of additional high yield review sessions
  • >3000 practice questions with explanations.

Current applications are due October 9. Program details and the scholarship application for students can be found at this link. The application is a simple form and should take a student <15 minutes to complete.

Students can also evaluate my free full MCAT Organic Chemistry course to see if they like the format. Anyone can ’enroll’ for free to access this free course and it covers all the organic topics listed on the official MCAT outline.
