Hello,
We are excited to announce the release of mentee applications for the Community Health-Oriented Mentorship Program (CHOMP)! Now more than ever, Public Health is an extremely relevant and important field for anyone looking to make a larger impact with healthcare, policy, business, and more. For students pursuing Public Health in any aspect, CHOMP seeks to provide mentorship, career planning workshops, panel discussions with Public Health professionals, and a lasting community of like-minded individuals.
CHOMP events will be virtual or in-person and open to the public, but for those seeking graduate student mentorship, please apply here: bit.ly/chompmentee. Before applying, please note our eligibility guidelines and prioritization of students seeking mentorship specifically within the Public Health field. We are more than happy to help you find another mentorship program (e.g. for those interested in MD/DO only, MD-PhD, etc.) if CHOMP may not be the best fit for your interests. If you are a graduate student or working in the Public Health/related field and are interested in serving as a mentor, please apply here: bit.ly/chompmentor.
Mentee and mentor applications will close on Friday, September 16 at 11:59pm EST and notifications will be sent out later that week. Please email shruti.kolli@ufl.edu and erin.kim@ufl.edu with any questions. We look forward to reading your responses!
Warm regards,
