IMA x UF Dept of Int’l Admissions: Global Gators Connect Program - Due Feb 28th

According to the AAMC, one of the most important skills that an aspiring medical student may possess is “cultural competence” -- demonstrating knowledge of socio-cultural factors that affect interactions and behaviors; showing an appreciation and respect for multiple dimensions of diversity; and recognizing and acting on the obligation to inform one’s own judgment; engages diverse and competing perspectives as a resource for learning. Do you have an interest in increasing your cultural competence? Do you have a passion for mentoring prospective international student applicants to UF?

Global Gator Connect Program
The Global Gator Connect Program seeks to match newly admitted international students for the Class of 2027 to current students (international or domestic) to provide ambassadorship and create friendship. This program is designed to keep the conversation going and help provide answers specifically about support services, community, and life as a Global Gator at UF.
