CAMMS First GBM! 2/23

The Collective for the Advancement of Minority Medical Scientists (CAMMS) is a student organization with the goal of preparing the next generation of biomedical scientists for successful research careers, advocating for elimination of barriers to careers in science and medicine, and building a collaborative community of budding minority scientists and allies.

CAMMS will be hosting our first GBM of the semester, a Clinical/Volunteer Opportunities Fair, on Thursday, February 23rd at 5 pm at the Reitz Union Room 2315. Join us to connect with organizations that provide opportunities for community volunteering and clinical exposure!

The following positions will be decided by current officers following interviews with the applicants. Memberships Chair The Memberships Chair shall be responsible for managing all responsibilities of the Memberships Committee. The Membership Committee members shall be responsible for outreach, recruitment, and member engagement. The Membership Committee members shall keep track of attendance for all meetings. Social Media Chair The Social Media Chair shall be responsible for managing the social media and web presence for CAMMS. Events Chair The Events Chair shall be responsible for assisting the President and Vice President in planning and coordinating all CAMMS events, including collaborations with other organizations.
