Are
you interested in developing yourself into a community leader and a better
applicant for future jobs and grad school? Assembly for Action gives you the
chance to win a $2,500 grant to work with a nonprofit in Gainesville to better
both yourself and the nonprofit.
Assembly for Action is a four-day conference to
teach students more about nonprofit and professional development. We educate
and enable students to make a difference in the community through seminars on
subjects including community development, non-profit leadership,
entrepreneurship, the ethics of volunteerism, public speaking, and grant
writing. If you are chosen as an Action Scholar, then you will work with a
nonprofit and your peers to write a grant proposal to implement your project at
the nonprofit. Winning grant proposals will be awarded up to $2,500 to make
your proposal a reality.
If you are
interested in getting involved in this award-winning program, apply by February
21st on https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScpVNhffR_KP_O_rQbzHSVTMQcB91zsE9JYA3zSz4JsCkV4JQ/viewform. For
