Are you interested in regenerative medicine, and want to get
involved in a research lab?
UF has
recently established a brand-new Center for Regenerative Medicine (UF CRM)
dedicated to developing stem cell therapies to repair damaged tissue and cure
disease. Director Keith March, M.D., Ph.D., has made it one of his goals to
increase undergraduate awareness of and involvement in the Center.
Planned
projects currently include a 1-2 credit undergraduate seminar course on
regenerative medicine scheduled for Spring 2019, a
certificate program in regenerative medicine, a pipeline that will help
students to find positions in research labs, and much more!
We are forming a student-run organization, so if you are
interested in getting involved with the Center’s future activities, want to
apply to work in a faculty member’s lab, or just want more information, join
our Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/595657050799308/?fref=mentions
We encourage everyone to post any inquiries in the Facebook
group, as that is the fastest way to get involved and get your questions
answered.
Best,
Aaron Sandoval
