Academic Research Building (up the steps past the College of
Medicine's Fountain)
When: Monday, March 27th, 2017 from 12PM- 2PM
The UF College of Medicine Medical Honors Program's (MHP) Second
Annual “Glocal” Health Exposition aims to educate current and future
healthcare professionals on “Glocal” (both local and global) health
disparities.
Attendees will be inspired to assess current solutions to health
dispairites with a critical eye, and will be challenged to improve upon those
solutions, using a patient-centered, culturally-appropriate, interdisciplinary
approach to problem solving.
The MHP Class of 2020 students who are currently enrolled in
"Physician Perspectives on Glocal Topics in Healthcare" will be
presenting their projects and will be available to answer any questions
regarding their experiences as first year UF MHP medical
students.
