This coming Saturday, April 2nd at 1:00 pm, Dr. Pam Ginn
and Alex Avelino will present the topic “Veterinary Medical School Admissions”
on the Animal Airwaves Live radio program on WUFT-FM. The episode was prerecorded
this week so there will not be a live call in section during the show.
Many steps are involved in veterinary medical school
admissions these days, from curriculum requirements to hands-on experience and
a demonstrated understanding of what the veterinary medical profession is all
about. On this show, Dr. Pam Ginn, director of admissions for the UF
College of Veterinary Medicine, and pre-veterinary advisor Alexandra Avelino
will discuss what today’s veterinary school hopefuls need to know before they apply
and how to maximize the chances for admission. Listeners
can also tune into the show online for live streaming during the broadcast at: http://www.wuftfm.org/stream/
