7:00-8:00 am – Poster setup and registration, Breakfast

8:00 am – Introductory remarks by Dr. Eric Triplett, Chair

8:10 am – 8:30 am: Special guest - Dr. Glenn Morris, Director EPI “Microbiology Research, Emerging Pathogens, and Career Pathways”

8:30 am - 10:00 am Student oral presentations (6 x 10 minutes)

8:30 am - 10:00 am Student poster presentations, even poster numbers only

concurrent with oral presentations

10:00 am Coffee Break

10:00 am – 11:30 am Student poster presentations, uneven poster numbers only

11:30 am – 12:00 pm Keynote address: Dr. Elaine Turner, CALS Dean 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm Lunch, Door prizes and Awards

12:30pm – 1:00 pm Special guest - Dr. Stratford May, Director UF MD/PhD program “A career as physician scientist”

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Career workshop with Dr. Stratford May (MD/PhD), Dr. Valerie de Crecy (PhD), Jonathan Orsini (MCB graduate advisor)
