HealthPREP is an 8-week program facilitated by Emory School of Medicine & the Rollins Public Health at Emory University for undergraduate and graduate scholars from disadvantaged backgrounds who are interested in health- related graduate and professional schools to enhance their skills for competitive admissions. The application for HealthPREP will close on February 14, 2023.
Students eligible to apply:
- Applicants with expressed interest in the health professions
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Minimum science and cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale
- At least one of the following backgrounds:
- Economically disadvantaged (i.e. pell Grant eligible)
- First-generation student whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have not completed a bachelor's degree
- One of the following classifications:
- MCAT track only: Matriculating students, with at least two years of undergraduate science OR pre-health coursework (including 2 semesters of organic chemistry)
- GRE track only: Matriculating students, with at least two years of undergraduate coursework
- Recent science or pre-health graduate
- Matriculating unclassified graduate in science pre-health profession education
