Hi everyone! My name is Tiffany Tabora, and I’m the Recruitment Chair for UF’s MentorGNV. I’m reaching out because I’m excited to announce that MentorGNV will be holding an application cycle for Fall 2022, and I would love your support in spreading the word!
What is MentorGNV? MentorGNV is a 501(c) nonprofit volunteering and community service organization that serves the Alachua County Public School system. On a weekly basis, mentors work with students from elementary to high school (in a one-on-one or group setting) through mentoring and tutoring sessions. Ultimately, our goal is to guide underserved students toward the path to success.
Notably, your experience with MentorGNV is what you make it: you can select which school to volunteer at, what grade levels to work with, and what days and times to volunteer at. That’s right— we work with your schedule, not the other way around!
Plus, MentorGNV is not major-exclusive. We accept UF students from all majors!
