Good afternoon!
I am the treasurer for GNV4All UF Chapter, an organization designed to connect University of Florida students with their off-campus community through involvement in learning about and actively seeking meaningful solutions to systemic persistent problems of race and poverty in Gainesville especially concerning areas of health and transportation, family support, and education.
We are opening our officer applications for the 2022-2023 school year! I am emailing you as we have an opening in our Health and Transportation, Education, and Family Support teams and thought this would be a great opportunity for all health students! The Health and Transportation team is committed to improving the quality of life for all in Gainesville whether that be through ensuring all people can have access to reliable modes of transportation or through ensuring access to reliable healthcare services. The Education team works towards connecting students from UF to the ACPS community with the goal of enhancing students' ability to excel in their classes (K-12) and provide opportunities for students during/after high school. The Family Support Team works to strengthen families in the Gainesville community and break the cycle of generational poverty through better access to childcare, transportation, early education, support, and mentoring. Becoming Chair/Assistant Chair member is a great leadership opportunity and officers are responsible for leading the development of ideas and initiatives within their team and implementing projects and events each semester. We also have other positions open which include Executive Secretary and Internal Coordinator. I have attached a flyer as a visual and hope to hear from you soon! Thanks!
With Regards,
Ayana Ray
