Panelists:
Podiatrist: Dr. Saul Rodriguez – Saul Rodriguez is a New Jersey native from Garfield, New Jersey who attended Seton Hall University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2011. For four and a half years Saul worked at Meese Orthopedics in Hackensack, New Jersey where he was inspired to pursue a career in Foot and Ankle Surgery. Between the years of 2016-2020. Dr. Rodriguez was enrolled at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he obtained his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. He is now finishing his second year of residency at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.
Physician Assistant: Kimberly Ann Miller, PA-C – Kimberly Miller is an Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical Education at Seton Hall University. Kimberly received a bachelor’s degree from Georgian Court University in biology, a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in Physician Assistant, and a master’s degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Physician Assistant. She practiced clinically as a PA for 18 years in New Jersey spending the majority of her time in the operating room, assisting in orthopedic, plastic, colorectal, gynecological, vascular and general surgical cases. Currently, Kimberly works in academia at Seton Hall University serving as the director of Clinical Education and a full-time faculty member.
Athletic Trainer: Deja Craig M.S., L.A.T., ATC – Deja Craig joined the Seton Hall Sports Medicine staff in August 2019, and is the primary athletic trainer for women’s basketball, as well as the men’s and women’s cross-country teams. Deja returns to the Hall after spending her academic Undergraduate and Graduate years in South Orange. Craig received her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the School of Health and Medical Sciences in May of 2018, and her Bachelor of Science in Biology in May of 2017. Prior to re-joining the Pirates, Craig was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Army West Point, working primarily with men’s and women's swimming and diving, as well as men’s and women’s tennis. Craig is currently collaborating on the following research studies, which are looking at the effects of concussions on various physiological functions of the body.
Physical Therapy Student: Olivia Gregorio – Olivia Gregorio is an upcoming graduate of New York University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Olivia is also a Seton Hall alum where she studied biology and ran on the cross-country and track teams. She is a certified personal trainer and strength and conditioning specialist who is passionate about making weight training accessible and approachable to all populations. Olivia seeks to pursue a career including a mix of sports and orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, and geriatrics as a future physical therapist.
Occupational Therapy Student: Brittany Dycha – Brittany Dycha is a second-year graduate student at Seton Hall University School of Health and Medical Sciences where she is currently studying to achieve her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Brittany earned her undergraduate degree at Seton Hall as well where she graduated with a bachelor’s in social and Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She currently has one semester left before starting level II fieldwork rotations in an assisted living facility.
