Calling all pre-health students interested in community service! HEROES is a service-oriented club that focuses on community outreach with disadvantaged populations. We provide volunteering opportunities such as ION Bingo, a monthly service activity where we play bingo with people with disabilities. We also have events during our meetings where we learn pre-health related skills, like in our Suture Clinic, where we learn how to suture using lifelike suture pads.
Our second GBM and Q&A panel event with current UF College of Medicine students is coming up next week. This is your opportunity to ask any pre-health related questions or general questions related to life inside and outside medicine. Engaging in these types of conversations is highly recommended to pre-health students as it may open new doors and opportunities beneficial to your undergraduate career, so show out and take advantage of this event!
Date/Time: Monday, February 28th at 7:30 PM
Location (Hyflex): Matherly Hall (MAT0103) or Zoom Option (ID: 242 323 3825)
