HEAL's Fall Health Panel

HEALTH PANEL is one of HEAL’S most anticipated events that has been biannually for over five consecutive years. Attendees have the opportunity to ask open-ended questions to a panel of speakers from various health professions in a town hall setting.
Our speakers of HEALTH PANEL FALL 2019 are admission officers and advisers from different health care fields including MEDICINE, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT, DENTISTRY, PHARMACY, PUBLIC HEALTH, and OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY.

This event provides to our attendees a customized experience featuring facilitated discussions on topics such as the responsibilities and career opportunities for the respective health professions, pre-requisites for application, and undergraduate tips!

Attire: Business Casual

HEAL (Health Educated Asian Leaders) is an organization of students representing various health-related fields at the University of Florida. We are here to bring together students pursuing a career in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, veterinary medicine, nursing, and physical and occupational therapy.

Our goal is to unite and build a network of diverse students with similar interests and career goals. Students are provided with the resources needed in order to be successful in furthering their professional ambitions. Through volunteer opportunities with various non-profit organizations, informational events with knowledgeable speakers, and educational meetings with icebreakers and after-socials, we include all aspects of the healthcare field and welcome every new member with a smile.
