"CURBS, in collaboration with UF's Student
Government, is pleased to announce that the 2018 Fall Research Expo will be
held on Monday September 24, 2018 from 5-7 pm in the Rion
Ballroom. The Undergraduate Research Expo is an annual exposition of research
conducted by faculty members and graduate students at the University of
Florida. The purpose of this event is to introduce undergraduates to research
faculty in a meet and greet-style setting. We hope to introduce students
to the diversity of research conducted at UF, allow students to network with
research faculty members, and present recruitment opportunities for
undergraduate researchers.
Last year, over 120 faculty members from
different research disciplines spoke to more than 400 attendees. Faculty and graduate
researchers will speak about their work and answer questions about research
opportunities in their field.
We hope that students will take interest in the
diversity of research conducted here at UF and be inspired to pursue their own
investigation of thoughtful research questions. Student can preregister at: https://goo.gl/forms/RAEIBk6zSf6eUQL42
For any questions, please contact Stephanie
Ciricillo (sciricillo97@ufl.edu) or
Katherine Ngo (kngo1998@ufl.edu) with the
subject line "Fall Expo." "
Thank you,
