All micro majors - show and present your research!!!!!!! It looks
great on your CV/resume and you can share with our faculty and your colleagues
what you have been up to in the lab~
We VERY STRONGLY encourage all students who are writing an
honor's thesis and who are signed up for research credit to present your
work at the conference. It is perfectly fine to work with/under a graduate
student/post-doc and still show the work you have done in the lab. We are aware
that many of you only help and don't have their own project.
There will be a separate category for the BEST projects from our
microbiology teaching labs! Talk to your TA if you qualify to present your work
(from the fall 16 or spring 17)
Please sign up for the conference here (including abstract and
other info about your research):
For any questions email Dr. Joe Larkin who is
in charge of the symposium this year and who is copied on
this email.
Abstracts are due no later than April 13th,
2017.
We will have special guest speakers TBD for 2017 -
I just heard through the grape vine that the speaker is AWESOME!
Door prizes, t-shirt sale AND FREE FOOD!!!!!!!!
