Undergraduate Research Opportunity

The lab of Dr. Ann Progulske-Fox is looking for an undergraduate volunteer willing to commit at least 8 hours/week in Spring 2017.  Our lab studies molecular mechanisms of pathogenesis of Porphyromonas gingivalis, a bacterium that is associated with chronic, generalized periodontitis and associated with cardiovascular disease.  Students will have lab responsibilities, such as animal studies, cell culture, and bacterial culture.  Interested students should email Heran Getachew (hgetachew@dental.ufl.edu) with their resume and class schedule.
