U of M Frankel CVC SURF 2024

The 2024 Frankel CVC SURF application is currently open through Monday, January 8, 2024.  Please forward the below information and attached flyer to dedicated undergraduate students interested in research, especially those who may be interested in pursuing biomedical research as a part of their long-term career plans.

Each accepted fellow will be matched based on their interests to a laboratory led by a Frankel CVC faculty member. The participating laboratories are involved in internationally recognized research in topics such as atherosclerosis, genetic cardiomyopathies, blood clotting disorders, cardiac arrhythmias, vascular biology, and heart failure.  Fellows will be paid bi-weekly at a rate of $15/hour for ten weeks of full-time (40 hours/week) work.  The program includes weekly scientific seminars and coffee hours, social events, and a two-day research symposium when fellows will present their research to peers, FCVC faculty, and staff.  This 10-week fellowship will be held May 28, 2024 through August 2, 2024.
