Global Medical Training invites students to participate in an informative event about Army medicine and the opportunities one can receive in the Pre-health field followed by a suturing workshop were students have the opportunity to learn, hands on, how to suture. Lead by Captain Sanders and his team, you can practice suturing on pig’s feet and learn about the scholarships the Army has to offer! The Society for Microbiology in Medicine (SMiM) will be hosting our first ever Career Panel this Wednesday, February 15th at 6:30pm in Matherly Hall room 0016. We will have graduate students, medical students, doctors, and admissions professors ready to answer your questions about the application process and what it's like to be in graduate/medical school.

With a new Congress and President, millions of Americans are asking "what comes next?" Join us for our 2nd Advocacy Workshop of the semester to learn how to get involved in ending domestic and global poverty. We will be talking more about our new student organization and what we can do to increase global access to education and basic medical care. This workshop will focus on getting to know your member of Congress.
